Dr. Yaakov Bagley, a Cherry Hill dentist seen here with one of his young patients, recently participated in his 10th dental mission to Israel on behalf of Dental Volunteers for Israel (DVI), which provides free dental care and oral hygiene education to thousands of at-risk children in Jerusalem. “I had planned this visit to coincide with a family wedding, even though I had just been to Jerusalem volunteering for two weeks in December. I enjoy every opportunity I come to Israel (usually once or twice a year) to work with this wonderful organization. They treat children and young adults, who otherwise would not receive dental treatment whatsoever, totally for free. They do not discriminate against anyone and have many children from different backgrounds, nationalities and religions. Personally, for me, it is a unique opportunity to give back in a small way to the people of Israel, my talents as a dentist. It is a true pleasure,” said Bagley.
