On Apr. 1, 2014, the Jewish Community Foundation, Inc. launched LIFE & LEGACY, an initiative of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, for the Southern New Jersey Jewish community, to help raise awareness about the importance of leaving a legacy to Jewish organizations. Fast forward nearly two years later and the initiative has become an overwhelming success, with approximately 600 new legacy commitments made to date, from hundreds of individuals all across the SNJ region, benefiting a total of 20 different local organizations.
In honor of the successful second full year of the program in Southern New Jersey, the JCF invites anybody who has signed a LIFE & LEGACY commitment (prior to April 1, 2016) to join in a special celebration event. This event will be held on Tuesday, Apr. 19, starting at 5:15 p.m. at the Jewish Community Campus on Springdale Rd. in Cherry Hill. The evening will kick off with light dinner fare along with special brief presentations to celebrate the accomplishments of the past year. Following this, all attendees will receive a complimentary ticket for a showing of “Dear Esther,” a renowned theatrical production hosted by the JCRC’s Goodwin Holocaust Museum & Education Center (GHMEC). A dessert buffet will conclude the event. Individuals who have committed to LIFE & LEGACY by signing a Letter of Intent are entitled to free entrance for the entire program. RSVPs, which are required to attend, should be made by Apr. 12.
If you have not signed a LIFE & LEGACY Letter of Intent and would like to do so, or if you have questions about the event or to RSVP, please contact Mike Staff, JCF marketing & communications manager, at (856) 673-2528 or email@example.com, or visit www.EndowmentFunds.org.
