The Milton & Betty Katz Jewish Community Center of Margate will hold its 2016 Gala at the Holtzman Gallery inside of The Claridge Hotel on Thursday, April 14 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. This year’s honoree will be Tony Rodio, President and CEO of Tropicana Entertainment. Rodio will be recognized for his unwavering commitment to improving Atlantic City’s entertainment and destination appeal through exceptional leadership at Tropicana.
“Under Tony’s leadership, coupled with ongoing financial commitment from Icahn Enterprises, Tropicana Atlantic City continues to innovate and reinvest in Atlantic City, resulting in a positive impact on the greater community,” said Katz JCC CEO Jack Fox. “We believe that Tony’s mission to improve the community through consistent business leadership is reflective of the mission of the Katz JCC,” he added.
Rodio has also served as President of the Casino Association of New Jersey and on the boards of the Atlantic City Alliance, United Way of Atlantic County, and the Lloyd D. Levenson Institute of Gaming Hospitality & Tourism. In 2014, Rodio was the recipient of the Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce Business Leader of the Year Award.
