NORMAN DeYOUNG, 83, of Margate, passed away on November 3. Born in London, England, he came to the United States in 1949 and quickly graduated from Atlantic City High School. He proudly served four years in the U.S. Navy, stationed in London. He went on to teach in the Margate school system for 36 years, where he took great joy and pleasure interacting with his students. He also worked in the casino industry as a craps dealer and in surveillance.

Norman is survived his beloved wife, Dena; his loving children, Philip (Hadassah), Judy (Michael) Feriozzi and Sheila DeYoung. He opened his heart to his dear grandchildren Paige, Michael, Courtney and Danielle as well as his five grandchildren in Israel. He is also survived by his brother Warren (Shelly) DeYoung, along with Leah (Bill) Lowenstein, Mincha Neiditch and many nieces and nephews.
