HAROLD BERLIN, DDS, formerly of Cherry Hill, passed away on Dec. 29. Husband of the late Dorothy “Dot” Berlin. Father of Barbara (Richard) Schmeltzer and Bruce Berlin. Brother of Catherine Snegaroff and Zelda Berlin. Also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was a dentist in Camden and Clementon until his retirement in 1984. He was a graduate of Camden H.S. and Temple University, and served in the U.S. Air Force as a dentist from 1953-1955. Dr. Berlin was the founder and first president of the Camden City Lodge of Brith Sholom and a former president of Cong. Beth Israel in Camden. He was a former president of the Camden County Branch of the Zionist Organization of America and a former president of the Jewish National Fund of Camden County. He was a former president of Lions Gate, vice president of the Jewish Federation of Southern NJ, and a former president of the Rotary Club of Clementon. ERIK BROWN, of Fresh Meadows, NY, passed away on Jan. 4. Husband of Ha Brown. Father of Abbie Brown. Son of Debby and Dr. Arthur Brown. Brother of Chad Brown and Ivy (Micah Buchdahl) Brown. Grandfather of Brett (Karelis), Andrew (Rebecca), Rikki Rose (Isaac), Michael, Ian (Noa), Ariel and Seth. Brother of Marian Lieberman and Charlotte Gold. Brother-in-law of Lillian Zelnick.
