Aleph is here for your aging parents

STORY FROM THE HEART

When our parents get older, they often rely on their adult children for assistance. That could mean driving them around, running their errands, administering medical treatments, or providing emotional support. This dependency can start at a moment’s notice. That’s where Aleph Home Care can help. Whether it’s providing just an hour of service or round-the-clock live-in care, Aleph is there when–and where–you need us.

From a client’s son-in-law:

“On behalf of my family, thank you very much for the outstanding service provided by one of your employees, Damien, this past Christmas Eve. He assisted my father-in-law, with quality care and support as if he were Damien’s own relative. My father-in-law suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease and required help with many tasks such as eating, drinking, sitting, and navigating about.

I had contacted your company a few days prior and spoke with Maryann. I explained our situation and she identified Damien as a perfect fit. We scheduled a ‘Meet and Greet’ the next day so all parties could become familiar. A nurse was also sent to assess the situation and determine the care plan for Bob.

On Christmas Eve, Damien arrived promptly at 4 p.m. at my ‘in-laws’ house. He brought his dog, Abby, as well. They took a short car ride to my house. From the minute they were getting out of the car until they left around 8, Damien was by my father-in-law’s side. He showed incredible patience as they walked to the house, climbed a couple of stairs, and entered the house. Damien made a great first impression with our entire family.

As the night progressed, Damien continued to provide the highest quality care. He was extremely friendly and felt like part of our family. We could not believe how great of a job he was doing given his first day with my father-in-law. He jumped right into the situation and took charge, as needed. Abby was a big hit as well. She was very well-behaved and everyone enjoyed her company. She was at ease around a house full of strangers, including several young children.

Unfortunately, my father-in-law passed away on January 3 because of this horrible disease. We know he is in a better place now and are hopeful he is comfortable again.

In all, we could not have asked for more from Damien and your company–especially given the short notice. Damien allowed everyone to have a nicer evening and to feel confident my father-in-law was in good hands. We thank you and Damien for his service. We hope other people will also get to experience the outstanding care he provided for us.”
