JNF of Southern New Jersey recently hosted Beer, Cheese and (More Than) Trees at Temple Beth Sholom in Cherry Hill. The event featured keynote speaker Ido Reichman-Eisikovits of JNF’s partner organization, Green Horizons. This annual event was organized by JNF board member and event chair, Mark Kramer, and sponsored by Kramer Beverage and ShopRite Supermarkets of Cherry Hill. Over 60 community members overcame the snowy road conditions to support JNF and Green Horizons, making this year’s event the most successful turnout and fundraising to date. Green Horizons is a transformative program which promotes Zionism among youth by taking elementary, middle, and high school students on hiking trips throughout Israel to build interpersonal and leadership skills and foster a strong connection to the land. Reichman-Eisikovits, who toured several other cities throughout the United States, was particularly excited to visit the hometown of his wife, a Cherry Hill native.
