Mirowitz family volunteers in Israel to help provide food for the hungry

Naomi and Seth Mirowitz and their children Aaron (right) and Ezra of Cherry Hill, volunteered at Leket Israel as part of their nephew Anan Kulp’s bar mitzvah project. They were joined by 21 other family members, including Cantor Ed and Linda Kulp of Margate. Leket is the largest food bank and leader in food rescue in Israel. The extended family assisted Leket by picking over 1,200 citrus fruits for families in need. The organization sources, collects and redistributes fresh, perishable, quality food, which would otherwise be considered waste, from farms, hotels, military bases and catering halls.
